Alert Service Dogs 4 Kids Academy The Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction asked for a grant to help pay for obtaining a puppy to be trained as a service dog for a child.

Heart of Monument Play Park The Monument Hill Club in conjunction with several other groups are working to make a play park that will be available to any and all people that have disabilities which limit their ability to use regular park equipment.
Glenwood Springs Kiwanis Club $1,000
Sopris Elementary bicycles – Storage Shed The school system has purchased bicycles for training and use by students who are unable to have their own bicycles. The Glenwood Springs Club requested a grant to help build a small shed to store those bicycles that can be locked.
Poudre Golden Kiwanis- Ft. Collins $1,000
Kids Super Hero Underwear The school system is in need of underwear for students because of accidents and/or illness during the school day. The Super Hero underwear is intended to bolster the student’s self confidence and help them overcome embarrassment and anxiety from the incident.
RMD E-Club $400
District Service Project for Birthday Cake kits The E-Club scheduled this service project to be completed during their mid-year meeting. Many low income families are not able to provide a cake with candles to celebrate their child’s birthday. These kits will be distributed to Food Pantries across the District.
RMD Key Club $300
Service Project for RMD DCON Children who are underserved often aren’t able to stimulate themselves with new and up to date toys and supplies. The District hopes to provide these clubs with fresh toys and supplies to truly allow children to grow and prosper in their given environment.
Broomfield North Metro Kiwanis $2,500
Movein Kits for Youths Aging Out of Foster Care. When children age out of the Foster Care System they do not have anything to stock an apartment to help them move forward. Broomfield Kiwanis is putting kits together that will help the youths to move out into the work.
